Is this graphics card compatible with my motherboard?

I don't know how to tell, and there's not much I could find online that could tell me. My computer has a Gateway FX6800-01e motherboard and I'm looking at buying a GeForce GTX 760 graphics card on sale.

This has come about mainly because I realized I need an upgrade after Star Wars Battlefront refused to run on my computer, so if it's not compatible, are there any other suggestions that are? The minimum specs required are either GeForce GTX 660 2GB or ATI Radeon HD 7850 2GB.

hi if you have a pci express x16 slot and you have room for the card it should work note it will take 2 - 6 pin connectors to the card. you might need to update your power supply as the one that came with the computer might not give enough power to run the system but we would need to know the make and model of the power supply you currently have.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Open the case and take some pictures of the pci ports
What is installed in it now ?

Use cpu-z/ cupid and go to the main board section and take a screen shot,
    CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID

Also graphic's and memory sections for the heck of it
