    I have an 8600M GT in my laptop and it is a solid performer...I expect the Desktop counterpart to be no different

    Bear in mind that modern games on the highest settings will probably not be possible...but you will still get a great experience out of the chip

    I have an 8800GT and it gets 6.9! lol but what they don't tell you is the 8800GT is really the 9800GT, both are the R92 chipset I think? But I'd say just wait, as the 300's are coming out and soon prices should decline for everything.

    I usually play with medium settings, so shouldn't be a problem then, I'm thinking of the 512 mb ddr3 model. Thanks :)

    Well then I'm guessing before the middle of next year they should have cards that do dx11 and are cheap? I wish I had 1G 256bit ram now =(
