Nah SLI just gives poor performance so i hear from flight sim or Prepar3D. I'll stick with one mighty GPU and run 2 monitors off it. Will i stick with that PSU?

Also i have no experience with hardware, will i seek tech help to install these components

The evga 1000 P2 is a darn good psu
The only thing better would be the 1200 P2 of which I have one but over kill for my system at this point because it's a sli psu but at least upgrading my psu is never going to be a problem

Stay at 16 for now, see how much memory you use during those situations, there was a thread here about windows using an extraordinary amount of memory with those 2 programs, was it you ?

If you stick 1 with 1 card the 1000 P2 will be fine. It`s an awesome PSU, I`m using it to run my Sabertooth Z170 right now.

You can install the parts yourself, it`s not rocket science :)

    Hi,
Not sure which version of windows 7 you have 7 pro and above you can use over 16gb's 7 64 bit home premium will only recognize 16gb's

With only 4 ram slots you'd want to make that decision first otherwise you could have some extra ram laying around :)
I have a x99 sabertooth it has 8 slots for ram so all I have to do is add another 4 sticks of 4x4gb for 32gb's of ram.
I only have 4x4gb installed now and Home premium.

    Okay there you go :)
Unless you get 7 pro 64 bit 16gb's is all the system will see

You could upgrade to win-10 and 10 will see more ram installed if you buy 4x8gb's instead of 4x4gb's.
