    Strange graphics issue

So I have been seeing this odd graphics issue in Seven and I am not sure how to really desribe it other than a fuzzy top bar of a window. I tried searching based on that description and I got everything under the sun.

So I took a screen shot to see if anyone has seen this before and has an idea how to fix it. To be honest it is nothing more than annoyance so I realize it isnt critical but I would like to see if I can get it to go away...

    See attachment and thanks!

Hello TeddyKGB, and welcome to Seven Forums.

This is a distortion caused by the graphics card driver. You might see if installing a newer graphics card driver version if one is available. If you are using the default ones that can with Windows 7, then try the latest Vista driver versions to see if they may work better for you. You may need to use Compatibility Mode with Vista selected to install them.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

    Thanks Brink.

I checked my graphics driver and saw that it had a "pre-release" NVidia driver installed. It must have been installed automatically with other updates.

I rolled it back to the previous version and so far it has shown back up.

    THANKS!

You might try the latest 182.05 beta driver version. I rarely get the distorted images with it. When I do, moving the window usually fixes it.
