Well lets see Asrock hasn't supported this board since XP. http://www.asrock.com/MB/download.aspModel=775V88 So suggesting to update the chipset drivers and the bios is out of the question. Then the ATI suggests the 6.11 driver for your card. Graphics Drivers & Software. So my suggestion to contact the resident graphic wizard torreng, for help with getting possibly a modded .inf for your card.

Download the Vista driver for it from ATI's site. Extract it to C:\ATI

Then install using the device manager. Right click standard vga. Update driver software. Browse. Let me pick. Have disk. Browse. Now go inside C:\ATI and find the .inf (inside driver display folder or something.)

Double click on it and hit ok.

    thanks for the response,
i've activated the drivers, but somehow its working slower than i think it should, i guess its because this driver is not optimized for windows 7. if anyone has a different idea...
    thanks.

Ya, sorry. I actually thought ATI had a Vista driver for that but they don't. So...ATI never made a Vista driver = you're out of luck with that card.

You could try to place an install string for the card in that .inf you have from the download. Then you could try to install using device manager by specifically pointing to the .inf.

    Probably won't work though.
