    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Power failure or malfunction can do some damage I'm sure is that what happened ?

Usually these items are plug and play all that is needed to do is connect to it with a dvi or vga cable :/

I would think if the fans were turning make sure your monitor on on the port you're using
You can do that with the monitor buttons usually on the bottom edge of it where ever the power button is there should be others for settings.

    Hi,
You did connect the power to the card it's self ?
Heck take some pictures of the cards connections and the wires to them.

Insert the card in the top pci-e port on the board

    Hi
Sorry I was upgrading one 7 install to windows 10 and updating the home premium to 7 pro
Went okay but threw a fit and had to clean install it

You say the psu was bad what did you replace it with exactly because it should have wiring to accommodate the port on the gpu without weird single wires come from anywhere but the main harness as the others all on one plug.

I'm guessing the plug on the gpu has 8 ports 2x4 but the one you show looks like it only has 6 2x3 and the other 2 single wires are completely separate from the main harness
