No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not function

So the other day i was trying to update my pc as i was a bit behind on updates ,so i updated everything on my pc. it was after this i encountered a problem with the driver signing saying this:

    Program Compatibility Assistant
Windows requires a digitally signed driver.
A recently installed program tried to install an unsigned driver. This version of Windows requires all drivers to have a valid digital signature. The driver is unavailable and the program that requires this driver might not work correctly.
Uninstall the program or device and check the publisher's support website to get a digitally signed driver.
Driver: ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver
    Service: amdkmdag
    Publisher: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
    Location: C:\Windows\System...\atikmdag.sys

now my pc screen has gone to a very low resolution and nothing is working nicely, and it been a real pain for me for 2 days now i hope you guys can help thanks :) .

    my pc specs:
    amd fx 4100
    xfx radeon hd 6870

Try uninstalling the ATI/Radeon drivers then download the latest drivers appropriate for your card from here:

    Download Drivers

Then install those drivers. That should fix the issue.

You can run the AMD setup utility again, and choose Uninstall > Custom, and then remove only the graphics driver and the CCC or Crimson control centre (depending on version). Be careful that you don't remove your USB drivers or you'll have no keyboard/mouse. That's why you choose Custom.

That's the easiest way. You can also use something like Driver Sweeper, but I have never found it necessary for AMD drivers, and I don't really trust the places that you can download it from. YMMV.

Sorry, I don't click on offsite files. Please use the following instructions to post a screenshot or picture to Seven Forums:

Are you sure that you downloaded the 64 bit version of the drivers and not the 32 bit? That will cause driver signing issues...

So the drivers say that they are installed properly, but you're getting a driver sign error. What happens when you reboot? Does the screen work properly?

When you go into device manager, do you see a yellow triangle beside your graphics card? If so, choose update drivers for the graphics card ans see what happens.
