    Extending Monitor Display Issue

My sager laptop is 1920x1080 resolution. My external monitor is 1920x1200 resolution. I use my external monitor as my main display. Basically i connected my laptop to external monitor and also use external keyboard connected to my laptop. The laptop is to my left while i stare at the monitor.

So when i have tabs up or any problem, i would drag it to the left side and thus its now on my 2nd monitor... the laptop monitor. I did something wrong with the setting where in order for me to move a window to my 2nd monitor... the laptop monitor, i have to move it to the right side of my external monitor screen. Can someone tell me how to fix it? i assume it has to do with 1 and 2 the number of the monitor in the settings?

I have settings graphic options, output to extended desktop digital tv built in display. Is that right or wrong? I assume this has to do with that or the 1 and 2?

    all you need do is:
at the setup window, where you see the numbers on the monitors and set resolution
grab the monitor, no matter which one indeed , and drag it to the other side
you can even place it above or below, according to the real positions
