    Yours is not a mini case so it will only take up a single slot on the back of the computer.
    Okay, so I have to keep that cable unconnected and loose? Or should I tuck it away in some corner?

    And the other red and black cable is for the fan.

    You will not touch either one of them, just install the card and install the drivers I linked for you in post #39
