Hello dipdap mate personally I prefer NVidia as I had no end of problems and issues with AMD stuff.

Now I am of the opinion that a plug in GPU is better than on board stuff which is usually ok these days for day to day stuff. Now this brings me to what do you intend to do graphically with your machine??

As for bottle necking unless I have it terribly wrong plugging in a card disconnects the motherboard graphics so in effect it would be in theory impossible to run both at once.

It also depends on your budget but generally speaking out where I am this would cost you $179 GeForce GTX 750 Ti which is reasonably good for general use and light gaming to $429 for this ASUS GeForce GTX 970 Turbo 4GB - I like Asus stuff as you may have guessed and I use the Asus GTX 650Ti in both my desktops.

Well APU Graphics are dedicated but literally integrated onto the chip (just beside the processor inside the heat spreader). If you're into playing but will not mind the graphical settings, I suggest just don't buy a graphics card until you have enough money.

Best AMD APU for gaming (imo)
    CPU: AMD A10-7850K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor ($184.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard ($64.99 @ Newegg)
    Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory ($74.99 @ Newegg)
    Total: $324.97
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available. Price may change.)

The HD 6670 is the best choice for crossfire. AMD's got a better SLI than NVIDIA. Or get an R7 250X if you have the budget.
