Screen Res Problem, not fit to scale option, screen very small.

When I go to change my resolution, it changes the resolution but it adds these black borders around the edge of my screen making my very smalll 13 inch into about 9 inches. It does this in the my computer section.

I want to be able to play older games, but because there is no way to change my resolution I am having trouble.
I read that on my graphic card, which is a Intel 3000, that I should be able to choose a option to scale to screen, or fit to screen... But I do not have that option.

in the my computer resolution settings My screen shrinks f I change it to anything other than 1366 by 768
    How can I fix this?

I am using a dell 3330 Lattitude Windows 7 any help is appreciated. I have never had this issue on other computers.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello Rimsky,

Have you tried System Restore. Pick a Restore point date before the issue started.

Thankyou for the response. I just did a fresh install of everything.
I figured out the issue though, for anyone esle who maybe having this problem...
I had my resultion set for 1366 by 768
When its at this setting, there is no option to scale to screen, if you take it off of this setting than you are able to.

Performing a System Restore automatically corrects screen resolution settings.

    Thanks, for posting back.

This issue can now be considered closed.
