Hi all
I wonder if anyone can help out what seems the problem. The card used to work before I reinstalled Windows.
Thanks
Hi all

Thanks but this is the entire point: NVIDIA graphics driver does not see the physical device and says "This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware".
Any suggestion how reinstalled Windows could recognize the card please?
Thanks
Sure, it showed to use 341.95-quadro-grid-desktop-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql
I did use that driver it and searched again based on your link.
QUADRO DESKTOP/QUADRO NOTEBOOK DRIVER RELEASE 340
NVIDIA DRIVERS Quadro Desktop/Quadro Notebook Driver Release 340 WHQL
However, the problem is the card is not shown in the Device Manager in Display Adapters as NVIDIA GPU. It used to work all fine before In reinstalled Windows 7. I even acquired another card, which is not shown there either. Something wrong that the Device Manager cannot show the card now for some reason.
The driver documentation also says that "If you own a Dell Inspiron 1420, Dell XPS M1330, Dell XPS M1530, or Dell Latitude D630/D630c it is highly recommended that you first install this Dell software update.". I have Dell 780 desktop, neither of the above laptop. So perhaps I need to find some drivers for Dell 780 desktop first? I googled it but could not find them...
Is your Alienware Bios upto date and is it showing as installed and enabled?
Roy
I think so. It is Dell Inc A15 06/08/2013
I updated the BIOS the first thing after reinstalling Windows with Dell System Detect.
Now I ran it again and updated further video card and network adapter Intel(R) 4 Series Internal Chipset.
Any other suggestions welcome.
Thanks
The BIOS item is shown in the System Information list and I hope it is enabled then there
