You can find good deals on ebay. You are risking that card by overclocking it too much and it's only as much as powerful as the GT 730.

How am i risking it if the temperature never goes above stock temperature? It goes to a max of 61*C. overclocked or stock. over a period of 6 hours continuous test it doesn't go above that. no artifacts or glitches.
And we can't get anything off ebay. Too many suspicious sellers and scammers. There's been people that advertise a high quality pocket knife. And you receive only the packaging and no actual item. Over 70$ for just the packaging? No thanks!

    Hi,
I missed the price but a gtx 750ti is showing in stock and 120.us from evga though they usually don't charge sells tax.
Might not make the price range for free shipping.
    EVGA - Products - Graphics - GeForce 700 Series Family - GTX 750 Ti
I got mine for about 30$ on amazon. But thats over 100$ on any of the choices. Waaaay too expensive.
Also mine is a low profile case so its gotta fit as well. And i've only got VGA for my monitor. No hdmi or DVI.

I got a hard drive splitter cable to power my second hard drive along with my main hard drive.
even with the added power draw no difference to the audio bugginess.. its not any worse or any better.

I added a 50mm and a 40mm fan to my GPU and just superglued them to the heatsink. routed the wires to 5v power wire coming from the PSU and now its idling at 25*C and gets to a max of 50*C under 100% usage for hours on end. while overclocked to 1454mhz core and 1200mhz memory clock.
stock is 954mhz core and 800mhz memory.
Isnt that a 52% and 52% overclock so about 104% overclock??

Do you think the GPU I got was a partial DUD/lemon??
if so what should i do about it? its moistly working except for trhe weird crashes that happen when i do certain actions.

if i use windows 2000 theme i dont get as many of the problems anymore.
edit: anyone got any clue? O.o

"...but it doesnt crash with DWM/AERO turned off. at all ever. instead I get lots of crackly audio on youtube (IF) my taskbar is showing and not "hidden"
but I open my start menu with the taskbar showing and it stops the crackling audio. And hovering over a link to make a extended text bubble appear makes the audio start crackling as well (this doesnt happen if DWM/AERO is on)
The random crashes and recoveries have been driving me crazy since I bought and installed my GT 710 card. More than 3 weeks I had to endure this! Tried everything, changed a million drivers, unistalled them with DDU, put in TdRRelay, and still happens. I joined this forum only to thank you! I turned off the DWM/AERO and it's gone!!!! (At least for the last 24 hours, fingers crossed). No problems with my audio or anything else. OK, I don't have the cool aero stuff any more but I'll pay the price gladly! I moved to Windows 7 recently, didn't have that on my previous XP anyway! thanks again. If I get another crash I'll let you know (before I hang myself )

Try windows 2000 theme if theres still any leftover oddities that disabling aero/DWM didn't fix
For me it fixed the audio stuttering on youtube when my taskbar was showing (and not hidden automatically)
because whenever my taskbar would show up my youtube videos would stutter badly.

Also you can overclock this GPU a lot and if its fan cooled you can go crazy with the overclock including voltage. and mine stays below 50*C
overclocked to 1454mhz core and 1215mhz memory

beware sometimes having the memory overclocked will cause youtube videos to sometimes become blocky. so its best to have no overclock on memory when watching youtube (games dont have any issue with high memory clock) its just a quirk of the video card.
dont try underclocking the memory clock though. it will make your screen go rainbow colors and lock up and need a hard shut down with power cord. same if you overclock too far on memory clock
stock is a mere 954mhz core clock and 800mhz memory clock.
i recommend nvidia inspector for overclocking it works the best

if yours has no fan i'd stick to default clocks when your not playing a game and go to max of 1200mhz core clock and memory clock in games no need to change voltage unless you have a lesser quality chip.

    Hi,
Old thread but we are still talking about a GT710 and OC'ing it :)
You realize it gets all it's power from the mother board seeing it has no additional power connections correct ?
I wouldn't be oc'ing something like that or going crazy with it at any rate suggested :)

Over clocking any video card with only a stock 235W power supply is foolish to me.
Demanding more power through the motherboard trying to over clock a video card with out external power connection, in my opinion is not a good idea.

    Keyboard logitech wired keyboard
    Mouse gearhead mini wireless mouse
    PSU 235w stock
    Case Dell Optiple
    Jack
