Windows 7 optional update suddenly removed aero effects

I installed this optional Windows Update (a huge mistake I now realize) labled "nVidia - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.2, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.3, Graphics Adapter WDDM2.0 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080", and after restarting the computer, I suddenly lost the aero effects to my computer.

The first thing that I noticed when I started up the computer again was that it had suddenly changed the screen resolution to 800x600 and rearranged my desktop icons, but I was able to put it back to its proper resolution. When I noticed the transparency gone from the explorer bar, I right-clicked on the screen and selected "Personalize" to fix it, only to notice at the bottom the message "Troubleshoot problems with transparency and other Aero effects".

After opening up the troubleshoot to find the problem, there's a message saying:

"Update the drive for your video card.

The current video card may support Aero with a driver that is compliant with the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM). Contact the manufacturer of your computer or video card for a WDD-compatible driver".

    How do I fix, please?

Never install video drivers from windows update, unless they are for the cpu graphics.

Your specs say "standard vga graphics adapter" are you using the cpu for graphics ?

Your cpu has Intel® HD Graphics 530, so there should be a driver for them.
