    @ThrashZone yeah I'm using a T.V. but it also has a VGA slot and an HDMI.
    @Barman48 I really hope the graphics card is not causing the problems.

    Use a vga to vga cable and use a vga to dvi adapter

I have a strange annoying display problem. basically my windows and the desktop and such do not automatically refresh themselves like they usually do. For example i deleted a folder sending it to the recycle bin. it still goes to the recycle bin however it is still shown in its previous location...
