Too may people and different cards in this thread, confusing

If you'r running a Nvisdia card, try thiis:
I had the same problem and I fixed it myself.
1. First of all, right click on Desktop and select "nVidia Control Panel"
2. If a prompt appears, select Advanced Settings.
3. On the left hand side, in the pane, expand "Display", then select "Change flat panel scaling".
4. In the middle of the window (somewhere says 2. When using a resolution lower than my display's native resolution...) Select the third radio button which says: "Use my display's built-in scaling".
5. Click "Apply"
Hope it helped!

I'm not sure i;m using an Nvidia card.

I got that off the Internet, but can't remember where, otherwise I would have given him credit.

Windows 7 Retail 64 Bit

Here's another wrinkle to my problem.

I cleaned all the drivers out with Driver Sweeper and started over.

As I said before, CCC doesn't even have the options to change the scaling in the advanced mode (They're not just grayed out, they're not even there). The Basic menu has the option but it doesn't stay.

I installed ATT without CCC this time. ATT doesn't even have the "Display" category where the options for scaling will be. This is a picture of what the menu should look like; "Display" is missing on my machine:

Any ideas? For quick reference running 9.11 (legacy) drivers, Mobility Modded to work with the x1400 in my Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop on Windows 7 64 bit.

I found it its the Catalyst Control Center ( CCC )
Open CCC then click on the Ati CCC button then click on basic click next quick setings then Notebook Panel Properties then click Go then Resize to fit the display panel. And you`re done : )
