Windows 7 doesn't recognize 2nd monitor

    Windows 7 doesn't recognize 2nd monitor


    I bought i new monitor today and i connect it on VGA splitter from VGA to two more VGA's. And nothing happens, my second monitor just mirroring whats on first. Can't extend it. Please help, and sorry for my bad english.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
    I would guess that is the way the splitter is supposed to operate
    The only way to get a second monitor to operate independently is to connect it to a separate dvi or vga or hdmi port on the mother board or a dedicated graphic's card with additional ports.

    Welcome to our forum dante14.

    My understanding is.
    No matter how many screens one has using a splitter, because their is only one hookup up to the motherboard or video card it is recognized as one screen.

    Your specs say you are running on an nVidia GeForce 750 Ti, which has more than one output, so you should be able to use those
