    Turn off pc. Plug the monitor into the 220 card. Turn on PC.

    Torrentg, sorry my post didn't show but that did it. Thanks a bunch!!! I spent hours upon hours trying to resolve myself. Really appreciate your help.

    If anyone else out there has followed all the suggestions given here, but is still experiencing problems, here's one more thing you can try. For some reason, it worked for me to connect via D-SUB/VGA rather than DVI. Who knows why...

    By the way I've got an ASUS ENGT220 on Windows 7 64-bit.
