Windows 7: clone display

clone display

We are currently having an issue running the following command at startup before the user has logged in.

DisplaySwitch.exe /clone

We need to run this before the user gets chance to login as our lecture theatre has dual output from the PC, one to the local monitor the second to the projector, however the default setting after the computer has been imaged is to extend the desktop with the login screen on the projector behind the user.
We have tried running the DisplaySwitch as an exe and a batch file as a scheduled task, local group policy and converting it to a service, however the display only goes to clone mode when the script is run after a user has logged in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you please provide a little more detail on your PC and graphics card? Specifically, the make and model.

If it were me, I would just clone the displays through the graphics driver control panel, if possible. That way you don;t have to rely on a batch file or TaskManager event to enable the second display.

Just me, but I think that would be easier.
