Dragging windows shows multiple images

I think there is something wrong with graphics in my new Lenovo ThinkPad E540.

Occassionally dragging Notepad windows shows multiple images of the Notepad window.
- like as in VBA if Screenupdating is false

The Lenovo is in a pristine state. No added browsers, nor apps, except Bitdefender Internet Security 2016
ie, default Internet Explorer, MS-Notepad, MS-Paint, MS Windows Explorer

I am using an external HDD for txt data and graphics via default MS Paint
I have tried finding driver updates for graphics but Lenovo offer "System Updates".
- I don't trust them. A popup nag offered Lenovo "updating" but all it did was load another Lenovo feature for morons. Which I promplty uninstalled because it was nagging for unfound DLLs. It's their update, and they couldn't get it right.

The Lenovo comes with all sorts of bells and whistles which many are totally irrelevant for me.
My concern is ...
1. Lenovo sneak a Win-10 upgrade onto my Win7 machine
2. they load up my machine with more crud
3. I am not ready for a Windows update (yet) which Lenovo insist on for their updates.

I am trying to prepare the Lenovo for a Macrium image, but I cannot do an image until I do a Windows 'update ... sought-of SP2 before the image.

This is what I am up against .....
Installed Lenovo programs

Control Panel -- Lenovo extras

Default Win-7 works perfectly well on my other machines without all this Lenovo "fluff" and "bloat"

I would appreciate any help, thank you
