Everyone is saying wait for vega

    Well, I'm not everyone, but Vega certainly looks appealing from a technical standpoint. If I were in the market for a card and had the money to burn for early-adopter pricing (which is always a ripoff), I might buy one. If I were truly going to go Vega, though, I would wait another year for the prices to go down and the drivers to stabilize.

    Now, the enthusiasts with money to burn and who don't care about being ripped off by introductory prices will tell you to buy it the first day that it comes out. They're everyone. :)

    BUT
    (You know there's always a "but") There is also the promotional part of it where they sell newly introduced products at rock bottom prices that you don't see again for 3 or 4 years. The merchandisers have the game all wrapped up. You don't play unless you pay. But .. That aside, what can you tell me about Vega? I just found this:

    AMD Radeon RX Vega GPU To Have Very Limited Quantities at Launch


    I'm more likely to get one of the older cards once it is released as they would be inclined to drop in price.
