missing HP S2031 Series Wide LCD Monitor

i am not sure which forums this goes into, and cant find forum that is a monitor forum so i just went with drivers, anyway somehow my display device changed, i've looked EVERYWHERE, and couldn't find something, it's pretty weird how it changed. I'm stuck on - generic pnp monitor, i fixed that, but i'm trying to get the 1600 x 900 resolution. this computer naturally comes with that resolution, and my monitor even says "HP S2031a" as text. Device Manager.jpg is where it says that my monitor is clearly HP s2031a. Update Driver Software.jpg is the driver I chose, and Screen Resolution.jpg is the option i'm stuck on with only "Display device on:VGA."

Please, help!

I suggest you try "Troubleshooting" first.

EDIT: Im sorry for the spam guys, no matter this question, ITS FIXED!!! All I had to do was press.... DETECT! :) I AM SO EXCITED! Thank you all, you are getting REP :)

If you have HP stuff (Desktop, laptop, printer, whatever) the "Detect" feature is very useful, takes you straight to the correct Support page. Did you Register your monitor? Even older, pre-owned HP products can be registered and HP will 'remember' your product.
