    GTX750TI - ASRock Pro4-M

    >....putting together some old parts for my son.
    GTX 750 TI
    ASRock Pro4-m
    CX500 PSU
    64GB SanDisk SSD
    W7Ult.

Installed the OS WITHOUT the 750. Updated everything. Works. Success.

Installed the 750 in the PCI 2.0 slot (which cramps a bunch of the connectors for HD indicator, buttons etc...hooked up the 6 pin from the PSU.

I get one short beep and nothing. It will not even go to the BIOS.

Unplug the power from the 750 and it will boot.

    Any thoughts?

A short beep means the system is working properly. You should have an option to disable onboard graphics and set to use graphics from PCI-e in the motherboard of your desktop.

Uninstall the onboard graphics drivers then set display to PEG or PCI-e (you motherboard should have this feature) then install NVIDIA Drivers.
