Intel USB 3.0 Monitor, This Device can Perform Better?

Why do I keep getting this Pop-up in Notification Area? Does my Monitor need better Drivers?

I meant to make the Title "This Device can Perform Faster" but did not see a way to change it.

Do you have your external monitor connected by a USB cable. According to specifications found on the web your Toshiba laptop should have a VGA monitor connection. Using the VGA connection should stop that notification. You may have to buy the correct cable if you don't already have one.

There are 2 things you can do, the first is to click on the little arrow next "Intel USB 3.0 Monitor" on the screen shot you supplied & select Hide Icon & Notifications.

The second thing you can do is locate the correct USB 3.0 drivers from the Dell website that suit your computer & download & install them.

If you are using the USB ports on the front of the computer, they may not be USB 3.0, so try one of the rear USB 3.0 ports. The USB 3.0 ports have a blue plastic insert, whereas the USB 2.0 are generally white.

Ranger4, I will give this a go! I was thinking it was a USB Storage Device, but then seen the thing about the Monitor. Now seeing the same popup about the USB Storage Device also, as I first thought.

I'm quite sure the USB Ports on front are also 3.0, but I'll double check.

It may take me a while, my health is not good atm.

Okay you were right here, they are both 2.0 in front. Why they do this I have no idea, I thought I remembered they were both 3.0, but that must have been another computer. Also, why they can't label them all with the Blue Chip when they are 3.0 is beyond me? I have a few pc's that claim to be 3.0 and have the Tiny "SS" for the Port, but no Blue Chip?

USB 3.0 Ports are colored Blue by standards, 2.0 is Black.
