Problem updating the graphics card gtx1070

    Hello friends
I have my graphics card gtx1070
When I install the 387 and 388 updates, the screen constantly flashes in the game, but 384 and 385 play without problems.
    where is the problem from?
    Thanks

Sometimes an update will have problems; in this situation, it is better to stay with an older update. So you should probably go with 384 or 385 in your situation.

As far back as I can remember, we've been told by the "Experts" to NEVER accept hardware updates from Microsoft, but only from the manufacturer of the device.
If it worked OK yesterday, why update it today? Old Saying, "if it works don't mess with it" (edited to be more family friendly).
But it's still good advise, and advise that try to follow.

    Hello friends

    Thanks for the answer

It's seen that laptops are released with two Intel and AMD or nVidia graphics cards
My laptop, as far as I can remember, was only nvidia from the beginning and it was not Intel
    Is this possible?

Which laptop do you have? Please put the make, model, and all other pertinent info in your System Specs, so that we can investigate this for you.

This is a bleeding edge, top of the line card, from which they are squeezing every bit of performance possible out of it. It takes a lot of advanced programming to achieve that; they have to do a lot of tricks to get it to work. With all of that, it is very difficult not to have some bugs.

Therefore, since you have some updates which work without any problem (384 & 385), stay with them. There's no need to take the newest driver for this card.
