Graphics Demo Recommendation for AMD Radeon HD 8690M Card?

Newly acquired Dell laptop. Just want to see what the card can do.
Please let me know where to find the download.

    Hi Siyeh,

Not quite sure what you mean!
Do you mean you want to run diagnostics on it, like stress testing?

    Hi Siyeh,

Perhaps you could include your system specifications in your UserCP > Edit System Spec setup.

The tutorial below (Published by Brink and written by CyberZeus) let's you easily see all of your system information, and has an option to make filling out your system specs here at Seven Forums easier to do:

How to See Your System Specs with "System Info"

This way it will be easier for people to help you in the future!

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm not sure if a stress test will show me what I want to see--might be overkill. My system specs are available at the lower left corner of this post.

My Latitude E6440 has two graphics cards. The Intel HD 4600 is supposed to take care of ordinary graphics functions, while the AMD 8690M is intended for more demanding tasks.

Once upon a time, Microsoft included a couple of games with their operating systems to demonstrate the graphics capabilities of computers running Windows. Later, device manufacturers like NVIDIA made free demo downloads available to show users what their graphics hardware could do.

My AMD driver software locks almost all graphics functions to the Intel card. I'm looking for a free AMD demo download for my card that can overcome the lockout and demonstrate what the Radeon graphics can do.

I'm hoping someone here knows where I can find such an animal.

Pretty much found what I was looking for.
Installing and running it revealed a possible hardware issue. Marking this one as solved.
Time to start a new thread.
