    Use laptop as monitor

    Hi all,

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times but I'm still trying to figure it out. I have two 1080p displays on my desktop but am needing a third monitor. I have my old laptop that I figure I could use as a third monitor using a software solution. A couple things I've tried already that didn't work:

    1) Spacedesk. For some reason it doesn't want to work for me. I can get connected but it always disconnects right away. So it's a bust, basically.

    2) Teamviewer virtual VGA trick. Unfortunately my desktop doesn't have a VGA out. If I could find a VGA driver that could make this work, my life would be easier.

So, anyone know how I can make this happen?

Perhaps one of these tools would work for you:

One of these tools might even be better:
