Second monitor no longer detected, please help.

Firstly, I'd like to apologize if this thread is in the wrong place.

I am currently running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and up until now had two monitors, my Acer monitor and a Toshiba TV I use as a second monitor through HDMI. However, one day after work, I had noticed that my Toshiba monitor was no longer being detected by Windows.

I have tried several things, including:
Reinstalling graphics drivers for my 5850
Using another HDMI cable that I know works
Unplugging and restarting both the desktop and TV
System restoring to when both monitors worked

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated .

Just for the hell of it. Have you tried swapping connections from the working monitor to the dead monitor? If it's indeed a port issue that'll tell you. Absent of that I really have no idea and all can think of is a dead monitor. The only way to verify that would be to plug it in to another computer.

Wait, it's a Toshiba TV that doesn't work? Can you plug cable into it or a blu-ray player and see if that works just to rule the monitor out?

Not sure of this, but the two monitors connected in one video card (gtx something) or in the built-in vid card? if it's 2 monitor is connected in the built-in the multi-screen settings on the bios is suddenly turn off. Hope it helps

Power down the computer; unplug the HDMI cable; power on the computer, and log into Windows; once in Windows, plug in the HDMI cable. I have found that you have to wait till you are up and running in Windows before plugging in an HDMI video cable.

If that doesn't work, then plug in the monitor as VGA, to see if that works. You will at least have something, if VGA works.
