Hi goopy,
Either do as SIW2 has suggested, OR, post your question in the relevant thread:
Intel Wifi AC 9260 driver fir Win7 x32 x64
I hope this helps!
This link is the tutorial I made some time ago on how to manually adjust the intel graphics driver INF file so it will work with kabylake on windows 7
Intel g4560 kabylake on windows 7 64 bit
A couple notes though. I used this method to install a few progressive driver versions, and have no idea if it will work with the latest version. I'm still on 21.20.16.4664 right now, having installed a couple later versions but then went back to 4664, for reasons I can't even remember.
The instant kaby lake came out I got one along with a z270 board, and found that gigabyte had a beta kaby lake win7 download that worked just fine. A few weeks later intel decided to disallow kabylake on win7, but I believe the gigabyte download is still out there and may well work for anyone. Can't hurt to try. Here is the link. Its version 4508. Installing this is easier than modifying your INF.

Johnhoh,
Are there links to any other drivers, or is it just the graphics driver?gigabyte had a beta kaby lake win7 download

Thanks for the kind reply, John.
1. The Hardware ID of %iKBLWGT2% is 591D, but was modified to 5912. Wonder if it was a typo?
2. HDMI audio from the 4664 package failed to install. Did you have similar problem? Any fix?
3. Did you try modifying a "w10 only" package such as 6286?
Many thanks and best regards,
The hardware ID of MY OWN cpu is 5912. You will want to use the 4-digit string that applies to your cpu, as discussed in step 5 of my linked post.
After installing, don't forget to go into control panel > sounds and change the default sound device from your speakers to your monitor, otherwise you will not hear anything from your monitor.
But if you are saying you got an hdmi installation error of some type, please post step by step details of what you did, and how windows told you about the error.
I do not know what you mean by 6286. But no, I would not use a win10 only package because those install scripts will include writes to win10 registry entries that do not exist for win7.
Greetings John,
Thanks for the kind reply.
1. The Gigabyte 4508 package is a gem. Much obliged.
2. This chap over at the videohelp forum seems to be switching igdumdim32.dll as well. Have you tired that?

3. There are reports of issues with these "hacked" drivers. Did you experience any? Could you suggest any good diagnostic test to assess the graphics performance?
4. Over here, Intel's XTU graphics stress test failed to start, and IPDT's SPBC Module test failed. Are these indications of problems somewhere?
Many thanks and best regards,
