Monitor goes black for a few seconds and then returns

So this is a kind of weird problem I am having
I have a Lenovo Core i7 laptop
The laptop is on a docking station and the video is spread between three monitors.(laptop and two externals)
Occasionally one of the monitors will go black for a second.
Most commonly the DVI cable, but sometimes the VGA cable.
This is not a significant issue but an annoyance.
Anyone have any experience, or fix for this?

Have you checked to see if there any graphic card[s] updates?

Monitor goes dark periodically for a few seconds
This is one I can't figure out, in spite of searching Google for answers to others with a similar problem. I have a ASRock Extreme 4 Gen 3 with an i7-3770k CPU and running Windows 7, of course. Can't see why I'd want to upgrade to Windows 10 and cause incompatibilities with all my software...

2nd monitor added but goes black after a few seconds..
I just added a 2nd monitor today to my comp, a Philips 109s. It turns on fine, displays the extended screen but after maybe 7 seconds, it goes black. If I change something within the screen res section(ie landscape to portrait), it fires back up, but goes black again in a few seconds. When the 2nd...

Black screen for a couple of seconds
Hello everyone, I've already been looking on the internet for any solutions and have tried some but nothing has seemed to work so far. When playing a game (League of Legends), my screen sometimes randomly turns black and recovers itself after a few seconds. I already deleted previous drivers...

Sound 'disappears' after 15 minutes and returns 2 seconds later
Hi there, Usually, I've been able to troubleshoot my PC woes and worries using my dear friend Google and/or some logic thinking. But there's something "strange" going on with my mediacenter-PC. As I've looked on these forums but couldn't find a solution (and to be honest : I'm baffled by this) :...

Screen often goes black for 2 seconds
Hi, I have Windows 7 Ultimate, 7600 RTM with a Geforce GTX 275. I notice sometimes about every 30 minutes or so the screen on the desktop would just go black and reappear in about 2 seconds. What could be the problem? DXdiag shows the drivers I am using are 8.17.11.9621.
