    Remove AMD Catalyst Control Center

I recently reinstalled Windows and now have the AMD Catalyst Control Center installed and would like to remove it, but I cannot find it in either Windows Programs and Features or my Revo Uninstaller. I don't want to remove any of the drivers.

The CCC shows up when I click on Start and does open, but there is no uninstall file in the various AMD or ATI folders on my C drive.

I've looked through the AMD site and done searches, but can't find a solution.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi br4,

I removed Catalyst & never reinstalled it.
If you run AMD CPU and Catalyst is installed, repair install or also referred to as an in place upgrade, requires it to be uninstalled beforehand.
Here is the uninstaller from AMD

    Thanks for your reply.

I had seen this before, but since I didn't want to uninstall the drivers, I didn't download it. I ran it in safe mode and, so far, all seems good.

I still don't understand why the Catalyst Control Center didn't appear in the two places I mentioned for uninstalling installed programs.
