Windows 7 Rtx Graphic Card Driver

    Hello there,

I changed my computer's graphics card with an RTX 4060, Windows 10 and 7 were installed as dualboot. When I opened Windows 7, I could not install the graphics card driver at all, there is no Windows 7 driver on RTX 4060. I tried "Add Hardware Support" with NVCleanstall but I still could not succeed, is it possible to install the driver by changing some codes in the Nvidia Driver folder?

The Windows 7 drivers do not support the 40 series NVIDIA cards, so far as I know.

    Bypass?

I know but is it possible to bypass this by editing NVIDIA's config files?

Not so far as I know. Apparently the OS must support DirectX 12, and Windows 7 only does that for a handful of games (Blizzard's WoW etc) via a clunky emulation layer.

Since you're dual-booting, I'd suggest Win 10 for games and local AI image-generation, and Windows 7 for daily work.
