So I tried looking for this mini dump folder, but am having trouble locating it. Is it a hidden folder? and if so how do I view hidden folders in windows 7?
If you have a dump file created it can be found by typing in the search box C:\Windows\Minidump. If found I would put it in a RAR file or zip it and post it in the crashes & debugging thread. It would get the attention of those members who are relaly good at reading dump files quicker. Fabe
So the problem hasnt happend for two weeks after I updated the bios and chipset drivers. Probably call it solved now.
This week my computer decided to start rocking the video crash again. It cant be a cooling issue because the damn thing is holding at 50 degrees when its happening. Any suggestions?
Go through the troubleshooting guide in my sig - it might point out the issue.
I seem to have the exact same problem as described in this thread. I have looked for dump files on my machine and find none. There are some entries when I view Events. Is there a way to post those? My machine is a new windows 7 64bit machine that I built. I can't seem to find a way to stabilize it, can anyone help? Before I take it out to the driveway and run over it with the truck.
So I think I solved the issue. My power supply only was pushing 38 amps and my video card requires 42. I now have a supply that does the right amps and it hasnt happend again yet. Hopefully everything is good now. Ill report back if it happens again.
