No do the install again.
Make sue you gave the download from Nvidia,.
Well first you need to find out what temps your card is running at you can use GPU-z for this. GPU-Z 0.3.4 download from Guru3D.com. Then you can use either riva tuner or Evga precision tool to regulate your fan speed on your card. RivaTuner v2.24c download from Guru3D.com Evga precision EVGA | EVGA Precision | EVGA Precision
I've had a look at the 2nd thread and thought i should post a crash dump but i cannot get to Windows/Minidump?
Hey again i used GPU-Z and it said that the temp was 51*C. Is this too high?
No that is well within tolerances. It has to be something else. Try doing what was mentioned in the other thread about making sure all your drivers are up to date. Especially the chipset. You'll have to go to the Packard Bell site for them. You will need your serial number, usualy located next to the genuine windows sticker on the back of your case. Aslo look for a monitor driver.
I used radarsync and it said that my nvidia hd audio, nvidia nForce System Management, and Realtek HD Audio were all out of date.
Then you should update them. I would like to see you get your monitor recognized as what it is as well. So you will have the correct resolution and refresh rate.
Just updated everything that i needed to from the PB website. But couldn't find any monitor drivers and am still getting screen tearing...
