so the fault must lie with your monitor , what is the refresh rate? mine has a fixed rate of only 60 hertz but it is flicker free, usually you dont have to load drivers for a monitor these days ,the operating system usually takes care of that. have you tried loading monitor drivers?

your motherboard is unusual in the fact it has an agp and a pci-e graphics slot although the pci-e only runs at x4 mode, normally it runs at x8 or x16 mode i dont know if that has any bearing on your troubles, the latest bios driver for your board is 2.20 which seems to add patches for ati graphics cards, i know your'e running an nvidia card im sorry im all out of ideas now maybe someone else will be along later

try going to the technosonic website and seeing if they have a new driver for you monitor, who manufactured your graphics card? check in the bios to see if the agp slot needs turning off or it needs to boot to the pci-e first but anyway disable the agp slot and see if that helps

put it like this the nvida card uses pci slot so what i did was take the nvida card out and put a winfast a280 card in which is not reconised by windows 7 so it uses the windows default setting and how about this the monitor does not trip of and on only problem is with the card thats in there no drivers for it for windows 7 or vista so graphics suck more confusing.??
    ged

ps it useing the standard vga graphics adapter at moment.

have you had the graphics card work in another pc? it may be the card is actually faulty, is it still under warranty?
download the vista drivers for the a280 and install in vista compatibility mode this will get you going while you check out your nvidia card
