Well that's not any help lists it as UMA meaning no results. So here is what you need to do. Go to device manager>click on display adapter>properties>details tab>drop down menu>hardware Id. Copy and Paste the hardware ID string. We can find out what is is from that and most likely find you a driver. Are you using 32 or 64 bit 7? Sorry it took so long to get back to you was caught up in an IM. Fabe

    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_086F&CC_030000
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_086F&CC_0300

Nvidia GO7600. So go back through this thread and try either one of the 2 posted mods to get your driver. Post #5 Hope this will help, just take your time and follow the steps to the T and it will show you how to modify your .inf file to install the driver. I've got something I have to do right now but I will check back and see how it went. We'll get it installed. You'll need the 32 bit driver to mod.Fabe

Alright, it installed without messing around it. The Windows Experience Index put Graphics at 4.3 and Gaming Graphics at 3.9

That is an improvement from 1.0, but I tried running Anarchy Online, the game I frequent, and everything lags badly and everything has sharp edges, even when it shouldn't. I am happy it works now, but if this is gonna be a step down I'm going to want to get back to my Vista setup as fast as possible

Edit: I restarted Anarchy Online, and got an error message: "Could not find the selected display driver/device combination! Using default!"

Probably why that happened (it still had the problem this second run)

If you just installed the driver without the mod then that is why the problem still persists. You need to mod the driver. Fabe

I have the same problem... Sony vaio, and my graphics card is shown as Standard VGA.

    My hardware ID is:

    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0426&SUBSYS_9005104D&REV_A1
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0426&SUBSYS_9005104D
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0426&CC_030000
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0426&CC_0300

Running on Windows 7 Enterprise, 32 bit

    Thanks in advance!

Edit: Used SIV, it says I have nVidia G86 [GeForce 8400M GT].

Welcome to seven forums Zambrano: Just so you know next time you should start your own thread this way you'll get faster and more responses. Yes your Viao is using the Nvidia 8400M GT. You can use this program to modify the latest Nvidia driver 195.62 NVIDIA MobilityModder - GamingHeaven.net As you can see your model is included in the list of cards. Just follow the directions exactly, take your time and everything should run right after the mod. Fabe
