Windows 7: Second monitor working but not detected?!?!

Second monitor working but not detected?!?!

So I got a new monitor for xmas, the LG Flatron W1953T and I wanted to get it running with my Dell monitor. I have an onboard NVIDIA GeForce 8300 and at first just tried to plug the new monitor into the DVI port but I think it's broken or something. Anyways, I bought this Triton Technologies External VGA video card that I just plug into a USB port, and now I have both monitors running through VGA, and my second monitor is up, but the resolution just looks terrible on the second one, and when I go to adjust resolution or whatever it says I have only one monitor and if I hit detect it doesn't come up. In my devices menu it says I have the dell menu, and then two other "Generic non PnP monitors" even though I only have one other monitor connected.

I also go to my NVIDIA control panel and it doesnt say the second monitor is detected.

Both monitors are working, like I see my desktop background on the other monitor and I can drag stuff over to it but its just not detected or something idk. I want to download Ultramon too, (Or should I get something else w/ windows 7??? I heard you cant have two taskbars w seven.) Thanks for any support you can give me here. Sorry for whatever bad grammer I'm in a hurry

Onboard Video

You should be able to use the onboard video outputs on the computer it self.

When you start up your computer you need to enter the BIOS by hitting usually F2 or DEL on a Dell once in the BIOS you need to find the setting for the Video it should give you choices like VGA or DVI or VGA+DVI you need it set to VGA+DVI by doing this you are turning on the other output good luck.

If for some reason you can't figure that out for the external video you have you should have some software that came with that that allows for changing the resolution on the external do not use the video control settings for the internal to do that.

I can only obtain output on the NVidia card using DVI or VGA, no output from mobo (DVI, VGA or HDMI)....

Second monitor not being detected.
Okay so i'm trying to use 2 monitors at the same time, with no luck. I've tried updating my drivers and some other stuff but it still won't work. I've enabled duel screens in my bios and tried manually detecting the monitor through CCC or screen resolution but it still only picks up one monitor.
