Pixel Problems

Hello and Happy New Year.

This only started after installing Windows 7.

I get wierd pixel patterns flashing on my screen. They only shows up on dark surfaces (ie when the screen behind it is dark). It started with one pixel flashing. Then two, then more until now when it has become very difficult to concentrate for the mini-light-show.

It is not my monitor (tried on my Xbox and was fine). I thought that it might be my graphics card but I tried on my other and it does a similar thing (but not totally the same).

Drivers for my graphics cards and monitor are up to date.

Could be a bad vga/dvi cord. That happened to me and looked similar.

I thought as much but it happens with both Graphics Cards and with both HDMI and VGA.

mine started and it is really evident in civilization IV, tiiles are all over the place and the text is pixelated
