    Black screen when playing games

    Morning!

First of all. I just want to see if others are experience this problem so I'll to wait for either update driver or the game needs updating/patching. or I'll have to get my card replaced again

I get these random black screens for 10~15 seconds when playing a game. as too me the driver crashed and then restarts.

    nVidia Geforce 9800GT

the game I'm playing is TF2. and i think that happen in L4D2 as well, so it doesnt seem to be just the game? or it could be both games are affected.

Had the latest nVidia drivers and I install beta drivers too(using that now atm)

I've been getting this since last year December, which i think it was after updating the nVidia driver in November never had these problems before. installed Windows 7 last year September

See in attachment what come up in the Reliability Monitor and the message(which didnt help much)
and those two files that are send to MS are just a hardware names and the current version of the hardware I've got etc.

EDIT: my gpu temps are ok, i do monitor them :)

Since you didnt have this issue before you updated your drivers in September Have you tried to roll back to the drivers you had before?

that not relevant though to the gpu drivers.(as i had the same problem before and after reinstalling windows 7)

    only drivers I got is:
    195.62(stable one apparently)

    This is weird....
This is out of my knowledge at this point.
    Post up the dump file....
Maybe someone can read it for you :)

    On the other hand.
Win7 fixed me video card issue.
In xp, vista, and other os's.
I got a plaid screen of death....
    In xp it was green,
    Vista it was black,
    other os's various other colors,
Since I have been running 7rtm.
    Not a single one :)
