FWIW - I have sent reports on every build I have installed and used - and I am supposed to *officially* only have the 7000 build.

And I am still alive and kickin', chuckles....

7057 changes one thing with regard to extending the desktop across displays -- the desktop icons treat the extended space as one big composite desktop. Since most folks auto arrange their desktop icons, that means they will all jump to the rightmost monitor in the array regardless of which desktop is declared "main". "Main" in 7057 just means that the taskbar is attached to it, nothing else.

well i hope they get rid of this feature.... i dont see how it could even be used. The "older" standard can extend onto multiple screens to make the appearance of one big screen.... Why were they doing this? I dont think it serves any positive purpose

What I was trying to get you to see is that nothing untoward has happened to me - I am still here, no C&D notices, no FBI raids, no highspeed car chases in a white bronco down LA freeways, nothing.

I think at this point they'd rather have the feedback than go chasing down all of us global users - and there are a ***lot*** of people using builds they find most everywhere.

An article at ZDNet (and other places) even speculates that M$ is the one releasing all these builds to quietly garner support for the upcoming release.
