    HDMI Multiple Displays

    Computer specs on bottom.

Okay i have multiple displays 1 is 40inch TV and the other being my 24inch monitor.
For the past few weeks ive had my TV set up DVI(PC)-VGA(TV) and my monitor dvi-dvi.
    no problems.
I recently purchased 2 Dvi-HDMI cables. 1 for my TV 1 for my monitor.
    Here is my problem:
I have both DVI-HDMI cables hooked up and i am only getting a display on whatever is plugged into my primary slot on my graphics card. Weather it be the TV or the Monitor if i switch both will work just not at the same time.
What ever is in the secondary dvi port on my graphics card will show up as "No signal"
But along with that what ever is plugged into HDMI wont give me audio either and i have the rca cable going from audio jack on my pc to audio input on my TV

First, make sure the second port works by itself. If it does, go into the Nvidia control panel to configure the multidisplay options correctly, in this case, you wanna set it to extend the display. If none of this work, update the drivers for the card, and if that doesn't work, check on BIOS updates. SOME boards, like my MIIF have had problem with the 2nd display not receiving signal and BIOS updates fixed them.

Thank you for the reply but as stated before Both of them do work and i use them on a regular basis, but my Tv is DVI-VGA and my monitor is DVI-DVI
its only when i use my DVI-HDMI cables were problems happen. I can get HDMI on 1 display which is fine if only 1 works but with that working i cant get DVI / VGA / HDMI working at ALL on the 2nd display. Bios is up to date along with drivers.

Also note that both DVI to HDMI are male - male ofcourse, and both of them DO work perfectly fine just not at the same time.

Yes he can, since he is just using DVI (DVI and HDMI are electrially the same, just HDMI specifies audio and other features). some setting is not set right.

With both cables hooked up and both screens on, on the one that is working, go to the Nvidia control panel and see if you can configure the dual screens there.

Also, for audio to go out of that video card, you will need to plug in a cable from the soundcard or mobo to the video card, if the video card has a provision for that, my GTX 285 and 260 have provisions for audio.

Thanks but, Even if it was only one at a time, my computer wont let me do 1 HDMI,and 1 DVI... yet i can do 2 DVI.

Audio i'm still not worrying about seeing i can not even get display, and i tried that i was in nvidia contorl panel messing around and it showed that everything was fine, except 1 of the 2 displays will still give me No Signal.
