    Windows 7 Aero on Intel 915GM/GMS, 910GML


    is it possible to use windows 7 aero on Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset Family (128mb) when RAM is upgraded to 2gb memory??

    Possibly, with slight lagg. Try it out. Probably you should disable it, since intergrated cards dont do very good with aero

    I believe it's no. No Windows 7 drivers exist for it. I'd say use Vista drivers, but they don't exist, either.

    Graphics - Older Intel® graphics controllers and Microsoft Windows 7* operating system

    The XP drivers may work:

    Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Windows* XP (zip)

    There's no Aero Glass support with XP drivers. I'd say that Aero is more in the eye candy category than a real necessity.
