Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Memtest86+ is actually a better test than Memtest 3.5.

Either way, 30 mins is far to short to determine an issue. 8 passes minimum is what you should be doing. (ie leave the machine run overnight)

I just watch the frame rates drop, also computer did a random restart today.

Sometimes I see the walls in the game without textures. (The lines that make up the wall, etc. if it makes sense.
It sounds like either a bad driver install, failing xfire bridge (you are only using one and not two of them?)

I would download and install DriverSweeper :Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

Next I'd remove ATI catalayst install manager from: Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features

Re-boot into safe made and run sweeper, clean the ATI files, restart and either re-install 9.12 or try again with 10.1

New Power Supply for Crossfire 5850's
Hey, Recently i picked up a bargain at the local computer parts store. It was two HIS radeon HD 5850's and xfire bridge for $100! A nice upgrade from my second hand GTX 550 Ti. They said they were clearing out old stock, it was the last thing left and my motherboard supports it. Anyway, I...

Poor SSD performance
Hi, I'm using Team Xtreem S3 120 GB SSD with Win7. The intallation was performed on AHCI mode and drivers and BIOS settings seem to be ok. However I get a poor perfomance. With SATA2 connection, I believe I should get seq speeds around 200-250 MB/s. Here is what I get: Crystal Disk Info AS...

Crossfire performance not up to par?
So I'll jump right into it: I'm well aware that Crossfire doesn't actually double the performance (at least not in every game) but the performance I've been getting in some games doesn't seen to be at all acceptable. I ran the in-game benchmarks for F1 2011 and DiRT 3 both with crossfire disabled...

Poor computer conditions = poor gaming performance?
First off, I didn't know whether to post this in gaming or hardware. Sorry. My question: If there is dust on the videocard and fans or other poor condtions in my computer, can it affect performance in gaming? FPS wise? Thanks, Andrew.

Poor SSD Performance
After having rather high hopes for SSD Performance...I'm disappointed. I'm glad I got a test unit, because if I would've shelled out the cabbage for this, I'd be a little PO'd. I have an 8300 Quad Core 2.5 Intel with 4GB of RAM running W7 Pro 64 Bit. Instead of trying to clone the old drive, I...
