I'm using the Windows Update driver for my 7800gt, Would I get any performance increase using 182.05 beta driver?

I would find out myself but I don't want to go through the hassle and risk messing up my install.

Hello Ben, and welcome to Seven Forums.

I'm not sure if you would see and increase in performance or not, but you can always roll back the driver to the Windows Update one the 182.05 doesn't help any. :)

    Hi John,

Yeah, it will be nice when Microsoft has that feature running. My guess is that it will not be until vendors start having full release Windows 7 drivers available.
