Went back to the 186.91 and as expected battlefield 2 is nice n sharp with no texture shimmering. The 2d/3d clock switching isnt affected by aero in windows 7 either. I'm really not sure what is going on with the 190-191.* series drivers in battlefield 2... It's like having vsync off at about arms length while the rest of the screen is fine but at times it lags aswell.

Think i'll stay with 186.91 till these 19* drivers have matured abit more!

Thanks again Neil. As GRiM says you are always the first. I'm still on 190.62 with no issues but I don't play battlefield 2 either.
Might wait for a few more reports on these before trying em.

    Cheers, john

i lose them as well on "gpu1" on gtx295, however it shows temps for "gpu2". Its a bug introduced in 190.89

Has anyone got a temp increase with the 190.62 drivers?
I went from 50 degrees idle to 60 degrees idle

Excuse this post if it has already been answered :)

Steve it might be due to the 3d clock switching everytime you do something aero related in windows 7. You can probably see this with evga precision , clocks go up down up down

This doesn't happen with the 186's nor the 191.00 but it does with all the 190.* drivers.

Need help 9600 GT Nvidia new Windows 7 (7600) x64

... let me just start like this...
OK i really don't believe in forums... but i like them, usually no one answers my questions .. i guess my typing sucks ....hopefully this forum can prove me wrong.

Ok i am a Windows XP SP3 freak love it XP is awesome ... now i want to switch to 7 i really do ... i installed it first the x86 then the x64. build (7600)

I stuck to the x64 and have this system:

    Quad Phantom AMD
    4 GB RAM
    9600 GT (nvidia 190 drivers)
    Sound card on board
    Mothebaord M3A Asus

    i hope thats enough.

    I have 4 hard drives

    1 x 80 GB (raptor 10000 rpm) (WIN XP SP3)
    1 x 120 GB (7200 rpm) (win 7)
    1 x 500 GB (empty)
    1 x 320 GB (empty)

Now my errors are these i believe that they are do to the same reason but still appart.

Windows 7 isntalled with no problems. (btw)

My 9600 Gt was found and with Microsoft drivers worked just fine.
I installed Battlefield 2142 tried to play, i went into the game selected a server ... and started playing, BUT i see no buidlings no cars NOTHING ... just the floor ... (hahah) i thought i was cheating ... No...

    SO i downloaded the Nvidia drivers ... WIn7 x64 190.XX

I install it ... and almost at the end after the blinking of the monitor windows 7 i get a blue screen saying nvldmkm.sys, memory dump, then a restart ... then trys to go into windows 7 again... doesn;t work then the revcovery comes ... it recovers everything and restart then i am back into windows 7 with ... well the standart drivers ... no nvidia on the lower right nothing ... i triewd it with older drivers and 1 worked 180. XX
it worked but now it would kick me out of Battle field 2142 ... why can;t i use 190. XX .

Please help ... i don't know what to do !

ALSO nothing is over clocked... nothing is out of the ordinary ...

Is there a different driver package maybe notfrom Nvidia but modified ... ?
