Just to note, theses aren't WHQL. They're BETA, which wasn't mentioned.
I revised the listing to reflect it's BETA status.![]()
Thanks for the info Sanvean:)
Any reports yet![]()
Just installed the x64 version of these.
Haven't got time to game now but they seem ok.
EVGA Precision tells me I have fan control anyway, which was a problem with the previous ones.
I'll try some gaming later and report back:)
Still not had a proper gaming session but have been playing music in Winamp with the amazing Milkdrop visualisation running full screen.
Evga Precision tells me that with fans at 50% I'm idling at 50c.
After an hour of Milkdrop (and The F**k Buttons) I'm running at 58c. This seems slightly less increase in temps than I was getting with the 196.21 drivers (they were around 60c) in the same scenario.
So, these look good so far![]()

Been testing the 197.13's for a bit here in 7 ultimate x64 and haven't noticed any issues. Ran for a bit in GTA IV and Dirt 2 and the games seemed to perform as they did 196.21. Best part the gpu didn't overheat yet and seems to be running at its normal temps so I suppose that's good news.![]()
Ok after some more testing I lost 5-10 fps in Dirt 2(and a couple other games) with these instead of 196.21. Not a huge big deal but thought it should be noted. Reverted back to 196.21 for now. Will wait for full release then test again.
