NVIDIA GeForce Gt 640M error message

I frequently (no apparent pattern) have to restart my Dell all-in-one. Not sure if it overheats and shuts down or if it is software problem. But after restart I sometimes get the message "The NVIDIA GeForce Gt 640M is not removable and cannot be ejected or unplugged". I seem to remember an upgrade or update attempt to the card some time ago. I can just X the message after the restart is complete but wonder why I get it. Could this be related to the shutdowns?

I'm thinking it's because you have two display drivers installed. Try going into the Windows control panel and under add/remove programs remove the Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver. Reboot and see if that fixes anything.

The Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver is for the embedded GPU in the CPU, and since you already have a dedicated GPU (the NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M) the embedded GPU driver in the CPU is not needed.
