    Seem to be running fine. The new installer is great as well, especially now you can choose not to install the other parts like the HD Audio drivers or the 3D surround stuff.

    I wonder if these are as good as the 182.50 drivers, eg. not 30% drop in 2d desktop performance and a fully working nividia scaling.

    Just as a warning.

    Anyone using the nVidia 8600M GT laptop graphics chip should AVOID the 260.63 beta drivers as they will cause your system to never work again. This has been a widespread thing for all 8600M GT owners.

    I personally have tested this chip on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. All resulted in the installation to no longer work properly..

    Please note that similar problems effect this card using the 260.63 drivers in linux, not as severe as the issue that plagues Windows but screen flickering seems to be the most common issue for this chip with these drivers on Linux..

    Just installe the new beta,and now on modern warefare to and any game the screen loses the width,i have black borders at the side,any help ???only does it in low res!

    In Nvidia control panel, under "Adjust Desktop Size and Position", step 2 what is your scaling set at?
