I am running EVGA nVidia geforce 8500GT's 512MB -X2 in SLI mode with the 185.85 driver with no problems -- so far. Gears of war looks sweet !

So far I'm still running the 185.85 Win 7 64 bit drivers and everything is working great. MY system is very stable, more stable than it was in Vista. I've played some Crysis, COD4, and COD5, Dead Space, and Now Fear 2.. all in Win 7. with the 185.85 drivers. and I've not had a SINGLE crash while gaming. Awesome.

Still, my eVGA precision shows downclocking as it should, but my RAM is showing up as 1188 even when set to default 999.. or when overclocked, or when downclocked lower. it always reads 1188, so I think that is just a glitch but that it's working fine, cuz games run fine.

So far so good, but still on RC

strange thing, I tried the Australian server first and it found the driver and then when it went to the download section it said file not found and I also noticed the file size was different to the one you posted, on the Australian server it was only 111MB instead of 135MB

    Hey Guys.
I am running GeForce 9600 GT in SLI with 64bit Build 7100 Win 7 and seem to have a problem with the driver. In graphic intense programs (but not games-Crysis worked fine) and mainly in photoshop the driver shuts down, windows restors it the first couple times, but sometimes shuts down - and I get the blue screen due to graphic adapter driver shotdown.
I saw on Brink's WEI report that he runs the same graphic card with a pre-release driver. Can anyone tell me if it is more stable, and where i can find it?

sorry - did not tell you my driver version.
    It is: 8.15.11.8585

I saw somewhere that someone said the new 186 driver fixes the problem with the long right click Context menu on Desktop. can anyone confirm this? as I still have that problem. if it did fix it. I'll try 186 on my fresh install rather than 185.85.

    thanks!

When I rightclick on desktop, and then select Nvidia Control Panel, there is a pause on about 2 seconds before the Nvidia-windows opens. That is with 186.06 driver on Windows 7 64bit build 7100
