Ok. Back on topic. I've found some Tweakforce drivers-190.15- and am trying them now.
    Anyone else tried these? J:)

they are gamer modded drivers. If you game heavily, else no real improvement.

Depends on what you mean by "heavily". I think I'm more like an occasional gamer, once or twice a week.
Still, if they improve that experience and perform decently elsewhere I'll give them a go and report back.

    Cheers, John:)

    i keep getting this message:
Latest NVIDIA ForceWare Video Drivers Windows 7-wtf101.jpg

oddly enough, i got the Win7 driver, with no problem.
this happened last night too. every time. (xp only?)

    -edit-

i got it, after jumping through a few hoops. going through the "archived and beta" link, i found the whql for xp. still an odd event. must have been a bug, maybe.

does anyone know how to load the drivers before installing windows 7. I seem to get blue screen during install right near the end. there is a point where the screen resolution changes and at that point i get bluescreen, so i'm thinking i need to pre-load the win 7 drivers first.

I've updated from Dox's 186.65 (modified and streamlined drivers) to 190.38, but now RivaTuner doesn't recognize my card, an XFX 8600GT. What tool can I use to manage my OCs? Does the eVGA Precesion software work with cards from other brands?

eVGA Precision works with all cards.
